Presented on 12 December 2023 during the as part of “Exploring multi-faceted approaches to prevent corruption and enhance accountability,” an afternoon of panels hosted by The Carter Center on the margins of the COSP10 conference in Atlanta, GA, this presentation provides an overview of the NEAT Initiative, with a special focus on securing recovered stolen assets through the PtP framework. Presenters included Chelsea Newhouse, NEAT and PtP Program Manager, East-West Management Institute (EWMI); Aaron Bornstein, PtP Consultant and former Executive director of the BOTA Foundation in Kyrgyzstan; and Rev. David Ugolor, Executive Director of the Africa Network for Environment and Economic Justice (ANEEJ). This event served as the official launch of the NEAT Initiative.
